Short fashion film 4'
A boy arrives at a swimming pool with this father. The place seems deserted, except for an elderly man who appears to be looking for the changing rooms. The boy is visibly nervous about the jump he's about to make into the pool. Seeking comfort, he turns to his father, who has made this same leap once before. However, now that he is standing at the edge of the pool, the boy must face this leap into the unknown all by himself. Then, on the far side of the water, he notices the elderly man, like a reflection of himself, watching. In his arms, the man is carrying a cherished piece of clothing, a tangible link to the past. This dress leads to the reminiscing of a memory.
The Leap is a short fashion film initiated by FASHIONCLASH. This film is developed by Solar Vlaar, Yana Engelbrecht, Amber Rozema, Jelena Bondt and Damiano Bodei during the FASHIONCLASH Fashion Film Bootcamp (2023).
